andy ghost
product wizard, tech startup co-founder, retired pizza delivery boy.
I've been a business analyst, project manager and scrum master, but for the better part of these years I've been working as a product owner/manager.
I've spent 1000's of hours tinkering with .NET, C#, Next.js, Azure, GCP, Supabase, Vercel, Stripe and Google Analytics to mention some. (Yes, Google Analytics is a skill. No, I won't change my mind.)
Retail, delivery, consumer banking. I know what customers actually do versus what they say they do.
Customer service taught me what users really need. Coding taught me what's possible. Product management taught me how to bridge the gap.
Areas of interest these days
Exploring the ever-expanding, never-ending universe of AI.
Building tools that give more than they take.
Helping businesses and solo devs getting back on track.
I have a very simple mantra:
Build things that give more than they take.
(Sorry | I won't accept your offer)
How I discovered the layers
Like most builders, I learned the hard way that working harder doesn't mean building better. Motion isn't progress.
Chased every new framework and feature idea. Built a lot, learned a lot. Discovered that motion isn't progress the hard way.
Started asking 'why' before 'what.' Less doing, more thinking.
Purpose → Values → Vision → Mission → Strategy → Tactics. Realized every great product / organization had these layers, whether they were planned or not.
